Alan Braatvedt- President
|
Alan has been working in the creative field of engineering for 32 years and has seen many innovative ideas tried and tested. He is really excited about the way that renewable energy is getting the attention that it deserves and that he is able to use his training and experience to get things done in the most effective way possible!
Alan has always been interested in renewable energy and all of the benefits that result from it, but was always frustrated about the long pay-back period. But when the California rebate program started, it all began to make a whole lot more sense and decided to get involved.
Now that the Federal tax credit is available, he can’t stop telling everyone that this is the very best investment that you can make. Alan firmly believes in PV solar power generation and is pleased to be part of this whole new movement.
“There is simply no other investment as secure as Solar is on your roof. It provides a return that is guaranteed to increase, along with the satisfaction that you are making a positive and lasting impact on those around you!”

David Bell- photovoltaic systems designer and consultant |
David grew up fascinated with the sciences as a kid. He remembers his first experience in solar power at around 7 years old when he started building solar powered model cars. While in college he studied a multitude of subjects, originally focusing on Engineering, then later got absorbed in the field of Economics.
Among other topics, he took special interest in Environmental Economics. Subjects like “grid parity,” “spill-over effects” and a host of other Economic principles provided the perfect background to start understanding the solar power industry. He met Alan in 2006, and soon struck up a working relationship, helping him and his colleagues form Sunbeam Technologies.
David brings to Sunbeam his experience in the fields of Engineering, Aerospace, and Construction. When not meeting with clients, performing site analysis’ and burning the midnight oil in the local coffee shops from Palos Verdes to Manhattan Beach, expect to see David in his Sunbeam T-shirt jogging, surfing, or biking on that very stretch of Coast he is proud to call home!
David holds a bachelors degree in Economics, a partial degree in Civil Engineering, and a design certificate from SMA, Sunny Design Academy.
“I absolutely love the opportunity to be at the forefront of this growth industry, helping people do something good for themselves and the environment.”
